With democratization of media, we are prone to see a changing media landscape in the coming years.

When it comes to modifying/correcting news online vs print, online correction would also leave a timestamp, and internet trail, which might be easier to track compared to print.

Above all, all these matters to only those who rely on these news. Moreover, with concerns about credibility of news, and spread of fake news (or, increased awareness of fake news) combined with dilution of media ethics over time, both online and traditional media are being followed with a grain of salt nowadays.

You can't alter news that's been printed in ink unlike news on the internet that can be changed on a moment's notice. With no accountability to the Truth. It's like nothing existed. At least with paper, it's in ink and the story will not be changed, erased or altered
