When principles don't align with practice - For example, a teetotaler promoting an alcoholic beverage or owns a distributor (Is it right or wrong? - that depends on the value system, and the nature of disconnect)
When lips and mouth preach Peace, while actions promote War (Peace & War) - Many times, as can be seen in the historical records, living beyond means happens to be a primary cause for many wars
When we are idealists on one day of the week; Whereas, abusive materialists on other days
These are examples that characterizes Cognitive dissonance, and plays a vital role in causing dysfunctional ecosystem.
