Here is one article that I wrote several years back, where I brought up that point. Global warming does not mean that it needs to be warmer everywhere. It depends on multitude of factors.

When it comes to ocean conditions, there are certain factors that were addressed earlier in some of the articles. More specifics will be made available soon, and how it has the potential to transform the coastal areas.
