Being nice, affectionate and feminist, does not mean that the person need not be an intellectual. Don't you think this statement is a bit condescending, both in terms of gender, and personality analysis? For that matter, labeling someone intellectual comes from others. A humble, thoughtful and wise person would not care whether (s)he is classified as an intellectual or intellect.
