We need to have depth in this quote. I have shared two aspects here, and it is much deeper than that.

1. It is better to have mundane death rather than one for making a mark in the history irrespective of the reasons.

2. We need to understand that what is historical for one group may not be for another group. History can be relative, time, location dependent, and also depend on the eyes of the beholder.

Personal Take: Equip with deep knowledge, wisdom and support it with self-honesty. If it were to make our life historical, so be it.
