Clarification: A self-reliant individual is not the same as self-made man. Self-reliance revolves around factors such as, flexibility, ability, agility, resourcefulness, attitude towards life, and more. Still a self-reliant individual needs a good environment in the form of family, friends, reliable peers and other support system to be successful.
